We are happy to announce that Jernbanepersonalets Bank & Forsikring (Jbf) went live with Keylane Axon. Jbf will deploy the Keylane solution for the full support of its sales and distribution, underwriting, billing and collections, claims management and administration.
It was Jbf’s aim to become more cost effective, meet the increased demands for digitalisation and to reduce the complexity of their IT-landscape. Furthermore, they were looking for a modern end-to-end platform to support straight through processing and shorten the time to market for new products.
Through automatic migration Jbf migrated a total of 100.000+ parties, 350.000+ policies and 90.000 claims (open and closed) at the same time, covering 15 existing insurance products. After a manual migration of the last few policies, now more than 20 products are fully operational on the platform.
The decision to migrate was also driven by Keylane’s Software as a Service offering. Keylane is the most experienced SaaS provider of insurance policy administration systems in Europe according to Gartner. It enables the company to quickly enhance its capacity, while hosting and maintenance including upgrades is fully taken care of. It also means that Jbf always meets the highest safety requirements and is compliant with current and future legislation. Jbf is among the few Norwegian insurers to move to and benefit from a SaaS solution. Keylane will monitor the entirety of the critical processes while Jbf can focus on best serving their customers.
