Keylane has recently achieved the ISO 27001 certificate for hosting services, which is part of its Software as a Service offering. “The certification shows that clients can rely on safe and reliable service,” says Ralf Timmer, executive board member at Keylane.
ISO 27001 is an international standard for information security that independently verifies a company’s processes, procedures and infrastructure. The Keylane assessment was carried out by EY. It was an intensive procedure, where the processes and security measures for the Keylane hosting services were analysed and assessed.
Software as a Service
Keylane increasingly supplies more clients with a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. This means that Keylane ensures the availability of services and applications of clients and is responsible for the daily management. Clients do not have to worry about the maintenance of the software and hardware and upgrades to new releases. They can also quickly adapt the capacity of the infrastructure to shrinking or expanding portfolios.
About ISO 27001
The ISO 27001 standard specifies requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). An ISMS is a systematic approach for securely managing sensitive company information. It relates to security measures for people, processes and IT systems.
